CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – Agents of the Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) confiscated shabu worth PHP4.08 million from a high value individual in San Antonio, Quezon on Saturday night.

Suspect and town resident “Jherome," 25, yielded 200 grams of the illegal substance during an operation in Barangay Arawan, according to a news release Sunday.

"The trust and cooperation of the people in their police is the effective fight against crime,” QPPO Director Col. Ledon Monte said in a statement. “We congratulate the police and the people of San Antonio for seeking to end the influence and presence of illegal drugs in their community.”

The suspect was locked up at the San Antonio Municipal Police Station for processing and proper disposition while the confiscated evidence are with the forensic unit for examination.
