DAVAO CITY – The Davao City Police Office Police (DCPO) reported the seizure of PHP4.8 million worth of shabu from two high-value individuals (HVIs) during a buy-bust over the weekend.
In a news release Monday, the DCPO identified the suspects as “Gar,” the top drug suspect in the region, and “Rod,” No. 3 HVI in the city.
“The information from the community made the successful capture of the HVIs,” the DCPO said.
An estimated 719 grams of shabu were seized from the duo in Barangay Dumoy here around 1:32 a.m. Sunday.
Police said they recovered several pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu and other drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are under the custody of the Baliok Police Station here for proper disposition and filing of appropriate cases. (PNA)
