LEGAZPI CITY – A new online job platform is creating opportunities for Bicolanos by directly connecting employers to employees through Bossjob-Philippines.

During the official launch of Bossjob on Tuesday at Casa Blanca here, Feby Joy Llosala-Luneza, the platform's growth director, said they want people to find jobs easier and make these more accessible to the applicants, particularly in Bicol.

Bossjob has accommodated more than 2,000 applications from Sorsogon, Naga City, Camarines Sur, and Legazpi City, Albay.

"Applicants can directly chat with Bossjob; if the employer is interested in the profile, there can be a direct chat already between the employer and employees. It makes it fast and easy for the sales matching," Luneza said.

She said their platform is powered by artificial intelligence and big data sets to deliver accurate recommendations to ensure efficient and convenient recruitment.

Luneza also said they are partnering with local government agencies, state universities, and colleges to provide more job opportunities and the right talent matching for companies across all industries.

She ensured applicants that Bossjob adheres to Republic Act 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and secures information given by the job seekers.

Bossjob currently operates in the Philippines, Singapore, China, Japan, Malaysia, Macao, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, and soon in Thailand and Vietnam. (PNA)
