MANILA – Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte on Tuesday filed her Certificate of Candidacy at the Amoranto Sports Complex as she seeks a third mayoralty term.

Belmonte filed her COC past noontime with her running mate, incumbent Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, under the local Serbisyo sa Bayan Party.

In a statement, Belmonte said her administration for the past five years is not just about the number of buildings and houses built, the job and livelihood opportunities created, not the reforms that they have institutionalized, but on how the lives of city residents have improved.

Have they felt true service and compassion? Were they given help when they were in need, for the education, transportation, livelihood, or until a loved one died? We can proudly say that we have provided and will continue to provide this type of service for all our constituents),” Belmonte said. (PNA)
