MANILA – The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies will continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, the weather bureau said Sunday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Visayas, Mimorapa, Bicol Region and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to at times heavy rains.

The easterlies will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon, with possible flash floods or landslides during several thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms in these areas.
