TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte – Davao del Norte 2nd District Rep. Allan Dujali, who is running for governor in this province, said he would prioritize education, job generation, and livelihood should he win in the 2025 polls.

Running under Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), Dujali and his team filed their certificates of candidacy at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office here Tuesday.

“I also wanted to unify, heal, and end the ‘political hate’ in the province,” he said without elaborating.

Dujali added that their lineup wanted to convey that they are for the poor and marginalized.

“We want every child to have access to education. We don’t want to see a child who cannot afford school because of being poor,” he added.

On healing and unification, he pledged to retain the employees of the provincial capitol if he gets a chance to serve as governor.

“Whatever party you are in, even if you support other leaders, as long as you are good at serving the public, you can work with us,” he said.

In next year's election, Dujali will challenge incumbent Governor Edwin Jubahib for the position. (PNA)
