Camarines Norte's No. 7 most wanted nabbed

LEGAZPI CITY – The Police Regional Office (PRO) 5 (Bicol) reported on Friday the arrest of Camarines Norte province's No. 7 most wanted person in a manhunt operation.

Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, PRO-5 spokesperson, said "Jun," 35, was arrested in his home in Daet on Thursday.

"The accused was charged with qualified rape with no bail recommended. The suspect is in the custody of the Daet Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and disposition of the case," she said.

PRO-5 Director Brig. Gen. Andre P. Dizon said PRO-5 continues to fulfill its duty to protect the safety and peace of every resident in the region.

"This arrest is proof of our unceasing efforts to achieve justice for the victims and maintain peace and order in our communities," he said. (PNA)
