Partly cloudy skies, isolated rains Thursday due to ‘habagat’

MANILA – The southwest monsoon or “habagat” affecting the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon will bring cloudy skies and isolated rains across the country, the weather bureau said Thursday.

In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The entire country will experience light to moderate wind conditions with slight to moderate seas.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 33°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 23°C; Laoag City, 24°C to 31°C; Legazpi City, 26°C to 34°C; Metro Cebu, 27°C to 33°C; Puerto Princesa City, 26°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 32°C. (PNA)
