MANILA – Generally fair weather will prevail over most parts of the country on Tuesday, a Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecaster said.

"The LPA (low pressure area) west of Luzon, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, is no longer causing rains on any part of the country," Grace Castañeda of PAGASA said.

Batanes, Cagayan, and Isabela will experience rains caused by the northeasterly surface wind flow.

Moderate to heavy rains may result in flash floods and landslides, according to PAGASA.

"The rest of the country will have generally fair weather, with isolated rains caused by localized thunderstorms," Castañeda said.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will continue to prevail over northern and central Luzon.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
