MANILA – The shear line affecting Central Luzon and the northeasterly wind flow affecting Northern Luzon will bring partly cloudy skies with isolated rains over most parts of the country, the weather bureau said Friday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, and Kalinga will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the northeasterly wind flow.

In the Ilocos region and the rest of the Cordillera region and Cagayan Valley, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will prevail.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the shear line or localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 24°C to 29°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 24°C; Laoag City, 25°C to 32°C; Legazpi City, 25°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, 26°C to 31°C; Puerto Princesa City, 25°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 33°C. (PNA)
