MANILA – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue the rehabilitation and installation of expansion joints on the northbound lane of the Roxas Boulevard EDSA Flyover in Pasay City starting Tuesday evening.

In a statement, the department said the works will start at 10 p.m. Tuesday until Nov. 12.

The repair will be continued at the northbound portion after the southbound lane expansion joints have been completed by the DPWH-South Manila District Engineering Office.

It added that repairs on damaged expansion joints of the southbound portion which started on Oct. 26 have been completed.

The thoroughfare's southbound lane is now passable to motorists, it added.

On the other hand, the DPWH advised motorists heading northbound are encouraged to take the EDSA Flyover Service Road as an alternate route to avoid inconvenience and traffic congestion.

Personnel from Pasay City government and enforcers from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority would take charge of managing vehicular traffic in the area. (PNA)
