MANILA – The westbound portion of R. Magsaysay Blvd., Manila will be partially closed for four months for drainage construction activities starting this week, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said on Wednesday.

In a social media post, the DPWH-North Manila District Engineering Office (NMDEO) said the works will start on Sept. 27 and are expected to be completed on Jan. 26, 2025.

“Rehabilitation works along the westbound lane will cover 214.00 linear meters from Pureza Street, and will cross eastbound 34.70 linear meters long, requiring partial road closure of the outermost lane,” the DPWH said.

Motorists are advised to use possible alternate routes to avoid traffic slowdowns in the affected areas. (PNA)
