MANILA - Three weather systems will continue to dampen the country with a shear line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon.

In its 4 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the presence of shear line would bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in Aurora, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, Oriental Mindoro, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur and Catanduanes.

The weather bureau likewise warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains in these areas.

Northeast monsoon or "amihan" will bring cloudy skies with rains over Northern and Central Luzon areas namely Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province and Ifugao. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains, PAGASA warned.

The effect of northeast monsoon will also be felt in Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and Calabarzon with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rainshowers.

Easterlies will be affecting Visayas and Mindanao and bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms throughout the rest of the country.

In Luzon, moderate to strong winds will be blowing through the northeast while moderate to rough coastal waters will prevail.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate east to northeast winds with slight to moderate coastal waters. (PNA)
