MANILA – Chery Tiggo, Creamline and PLDT continue their quest for quarterfinal berths in the second preliminary round of the Philippine Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Tuesday.

The Crossovers, the Cool Smashers and the High Speed Hitters, sporting similar 4-1 slates from the first round of the pool prelims, need one more victory to join unbeaten Akari Chargers (6-0) and the Cignal HD Spikers (5-1) in the Last 8 phase.

Chery Tiggo will bank on Ara Galang, Pauline Gaston, Shaya Adorador, Aby Maraño, Seth Rodriguez, Mary Rhose Dapol and import Kath Bell when it battles Choco Mucho (1-4) at 1 p.m.

Import Erica Staunton and locals Michele Gumabao, Bernadeth Pons, Bea de Leon, Pangs Panaga, Risa Sato and Kyle Negrito will banner Creamline against Petro Gazz (2-3) at 3 p.m.

Leading the Angels are former MVP Myla Pablo, Wilma Salas and import Brooke van Sickle.

PLDT will rely on import Elena Samoilenko and locals Erika Santos, Fiola Ceballos, Majoy Baron, Mika Reyes, Kim Fajardo, Shiela Kiseo, and Kiesha Bedonia against ZUS Coffee at 5 p.m.

The winless Thunderbelles will lean on Asaka Tamaru, Dolly Verzosa, Ypril Tapia, Michelle Gamit and Sharya Ancheta. (PNA)
