MANILA – Cebu Pacific (CEB) is further expanding connectivity across the regions, launching flights to Hong Kong via Davao and resuming direct flights between Singapore and Iloilo later this year.

According to Changi Airport's Facebook post on Thursday, CEB is the only airline that would fly the nonstop Singapore-Iloilo route, thrice a week –every Monday, Wednesday and Friday– beginning Nov. 25.

Flights between Davao and Hong Kong, on the other hand, would be four times weekly – every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday – beginning Oct. 27

These would make air travel more convenient for passengers in the Visayas and Mindanao, the Gokongwei-led carrier said.

Passengers can book Davao-Hong Kong and Iloilo-Singapore tickets for as low as PHP1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges, until Aug. 31, 2024, for travel until March 29, 2025.

CEB has been announcing new domestic and international services via Manila, Clark, and regional hubs.

From Davao, CEB will fly to Bangkok via Don Mueang International Airport, and will also launch flights to Caticlan, Puerto Princesa and Tacloban, in October.

Currently, the carrier caters to a total of 35 domestic and 26 international destinations.  (PNA)
